Two sisters and a childhood dream..
Once upon a time, there were two sisters, Laura Marina and Laura Cristina, who shared a special bond and a common dream since their childhood.
They always felt a deep love for jewellery and their family's rich history in the jewellery industry.
The journey of these sisters in the world of jewellery began with a family legend that traced back to their great-grandfather, Silvio Siciliano.
Silvio Siciliano, a brave and determined man, left his homeland in Calabria, Italy, in search of new opportunities in Venezuela.
With a bag full of treasures and dreams, he arrived in the city of Maracaibo and with hard work and sacrifice he founded his own jewellery store, known as "Joyería Siciliano". This jewellery store would become the family's legacy and the starting point of
the sisters' story.
Silvio was married to Amalia Siciliano and had 6 children. After time passed, one of their sons, Orestes affectionately nicknamed "Papá Orestes", met María Luisa, "Mamita" in the jewellery store and their love story began.
Later on in life they became grandparents and instilled in the grandaughters a deep love and appreciation for jewellery since an early age.
A wonderful childhood memory shared is that Mamita used to prepare a delightful midnight dinner and in secret, show them her most precious treasures. In a dreamlike world, the Lauras would dress up and adorn themselves with the beautiful gems, immersing themselves in a world of abundance, sparkle, and joy.
These extravagant moments provided an escape from the real world and sparked their imagination.
However, after playtime, Mamita always reminded them that the reality of life has its nuances and taught them lessons about the ups and downs of life, as well as the value of hard work and responsibility.
These intertwined family stories hold a special place in the sisters'
souls, evoking nostalgia and inspiring them to turn their childhood dream into a reality.
